予約をしたらホテルズドットコムじゃなくてスイスの不動産屋から度々入力依頼の英文メールが来た。 鍵の受け渡しは人を介さず、eメールで受け取る方法が書かれたページのURLが送られて来た。鍵の入っているデバイスの場所、デバイスの開き方の説明が簡略化されていて民泊経験のない人にはわかりにくい。連絡先がメールに書かれたメールアドレスか電話番号のみ。WhatsAppが使えるならリンクをつけてそう書いてほしかった。 部屋は住居として使われるアパートの地上階にあり、住人、テナントスタッフがポストのある空間とエレベーター、階段のある空間を行き来するときに必ずドアのガシャンとする大きな音が響き、金曜夜から土曜朝にかけてはパーティー終わりの人達が帰って行く時の話し声、ドアの音で目が覚めた。 周りにはメトロの駅、バス停、八百屋、複数のスーパーマーケット、コインランドリーがあって便利な場所だった。
