Modern and clean plus good central position

− The building is not labelled as Platform anywhere so impossible to find. Had to call host for assistance. Bit noisy at night but earplugs helped, it was very hot so all windows were open.

It was good, just minor issues that need attending to

Lots of parking, very close to shops, good size space for 2 people

− There was a smashed glass left in the cupboard, stains on the bed sheets, lift was broken (room on 3rd floor and so many steps) windows barely worked

Good place for a week

Location was very good. Apartment was very clean and decor really nice. Great to have 2 bathrooms with showers. Parking space was handy too!

− Very tricky to find the key lock and when we did find it the key wasnt in it! This was 3.15pm and check in was 3pm. I went into reception to ask and they couldnt help because it was booked on Booking.com. A lady overheard our conversation and said 'oh i have a load of keys here, one of them maybe yours!' and it was with her. It was torrential rain which made it worse as we were outside trying to find the key! Not sure what we could have done if she hadnt of overheard? Could do with an emergency telephone number?? More info on where to park would be good too as we were concerned we were parking on someone's space!!

The location of the apartment is very central and easy to find. Also there was a very welcoming man in the reception area who explained where we would get out key etc. As we'd had some roaming issues on our phones but he showed us to a seating area where we could sort it quickly. We were soon in the lift and found the apartment easily. It is bright and modern with all modern conveniences and a well equipped kitchen.Lovely kitchenware and decor, the owner has good taste! Also at night there was no noise, doors banging etc.

− In some ways these points are somewhat out of the control of the apartment owner but to give a balanced review I just wanted to mention the apartment got very warm and you can't open the windows fully. It could be a bit uncomfortable at night. Never thought air con was needed in England! Also the lifts tended to be dirty most of the time. Which was a pity as they made so much effort with the other public areas being spotless.
