Sunny and well equipped home

Very well equipped with each and every amenity you can think of for a second home from home. Beautiful views of the mountains and access to the Pearl Valley Estate. Modern home with aircon all through and solar PV with BESS which made the stay more sustainable. The availability of a golf cart was an unexpected surprise and supplying fire wood and charcoal was very thoughtful!

− The property was not cleaned properly. Kitchen and scullery area both had a foul smell. Dustbins were overflowing, but we understand it was because of limited services during holidays. Swimming towels + pool was dirty, underneath beds was a mess, outside patio furniture stained and the braai needs a thorough degreasing. We were immensely put off by the number of flies all around and attempt to place flytraps by the vendor, clearly a while ago, was not acceptable as the smell was unbearable at times.

Modern light airy bungalow on a modern estate with a small pool

− Pool was dirty, hadn’t been checked. When you pay a substantial amount of money for a weeks accommodation I’d expect more of the little touches to be done right For example no bin liners, no kitchen roll, poor complimentary arrival basket, no call midweek to see how we were doing. Property located next to a busy contractors entrance so woken every morning at 6am
