5.0We love Hermanus! This property is literally next to the ocean. It's in a secure complex.
− This property needs some serious work and TLC. We were most concerned about the mold in the rooms (literally had to make a bed on the living room, because the odour from the moldy curtains was too overwhelming to sleep there. Struggled to open the top door to go out on the balcony, owner said he keeps forgetting to fix it. Bedding was clean, but worn and washed out. Windows were dirty, which was a shame, as it took away from the gorgeous view we COULD'VE had. The deck in front, where you could sit and look at the ocean, was so dirty. We never even sat there. Cigarette buts and other litter in the plant bedding. The property feels neglected. We will not be back.

− Attention to detail e.g. light wasn't working in kitchen and braai area. Had to use candles and torch. Lamp was missing next to bed. Door to patio stuck. Had to force it open and closed. 1 toilet roll in en suite. Never saw any staff. Minor issues.
Amazing sea views with a perfect beachfront location
7.0Amazing location and the staff at the Beach Club were kind and helpful. Beautiful views right on the ocean.
− Accomadarion felt a little dated. The dishwasher didn’t really work, some blinds were broken, limited bathroom supplies and the entire place could use a god deep cleaning. The neighbourhood leading into the Beach House was less than ideal however security was superb and we had no issues at all. We had read reviews about the surrounding neighbourhood but didn’t realize to the extent. Again the people in surrounding neighbourhood we very friendly and we didn’t feel unsafe.
