Less than pleasant experience for the price tag

Beach grounds are nice (although beach is not swimmable, similar to all beaches on the East coast of San Pedro island). The staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism, offering helpful and responsive assistance even during late hours of communication.

− A sizable construction project on the North side significantly obstructs the view from the D1 villa, a detail conveniently omitted from the promotional pictures. This building dominates the left side of the villa's view. Additionally, the property's perceived class doesn't align with the high price tag of ~$300 per night. The kitchen, albeit updated, contrasts sharply with the outdated and urgently in need of renovation bathroom. This unexpected disparity between the visual appeal, property class, and price has been disconcerting. Surprisingly, on the last night of our stay, we encountered another unexpected issue: the comforter was removed from the bed and replaced with a thin, lightweight throw! This unforeseen change added to the overall frustration of our experience. The introduction of the golf cart rental by the villas turned out to be another subpar experience. Despite the claim that the rented golf cart had a full fuel tank, it was surprising to discover it was nearly empty, as confirmed by the villa staff. This unexpected situation forced us to divert from our planned activities during our vacation to locate a gas station. Even more disappointing was the fact that the rental company did not reimburse us for the gas, adding an unpleasant experience to our stay.
