Jewel of a house for a perfect beach holiday

A jewel of a house in the old, quiet (I went in October), residential part of Pozzallo, 2mins from the main square, 5mins from the fabulous beach, which, in early October, I had nearly to myself. Shops and restaurants are in walking distance. The house was refurbished with great taste and to a high standard. It's very clean and comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished with all mod cons and attention to detail. The perfect (and safe) base for a beach holiday - also and particularly for a solo traveller, though the house sleeps 4 or 5 people, I believe. Host Sonia is lovely. She loves Pozzallo and it's her joy to share this love with others. Communication was excellent, practical and timely, before, during and after the trip: Sonia lets you know all you need to know about the house and the town, shares some great tips, and is available to answer any questions. We had some nice chats, too. :-) Grazie Sonia, per la gentilezza e questo soggiorno veramente speciale!

− The pillows for the bed were rather hard for my taste - but that's a very minor issue and a personal preference. I'm sure that Sonia would have provided another pillow if I had mentioned it. :-)

Ho soggiornato in questa casa vacanze in pieno centro storico di Pozzallo e mi sono trovato davvero benissimo. La casa è molto carina, curata e dotata di tutte le comodità necessarie per un soggiorno confortevole. Aria condizionata su entrambi i piani, spazi ben organizzati e posizione perfetta per muoversi a piedi in centro. Un altro punto di forza è la proprietaria Sonia: simpatica, gentilissima e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza o consiglio. Consiglio assolutamente questa casa vacanze a chiunque voglia godersi Pozzallo in totale relax!
