5.0We appreciated being allowed to check in earlier than expected, and the location is excellent. The beach is only about a 5-minute walk away, and public transport, tuk-tuks, boda bodas, and ride-hailing services are all conveniently available right outside the villa, making it very easy to get around.
− Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. The villa we were initially given was not the one we had booked. When it was time to move to the correct villa, we were told the previous guests had not checked out, so we had to remain where we were. There were no duvets in two beds out of four bed (which were replaced later after we complained) despite the cold, rainy mornings, and none of the showers were working when we arrived. After we raised the issue, the host repaired two of the three bathrooms, which we appreciated. We also extended our stay, but this was mainly because we were traveling with 4 children and moving to another property at the last minute would have been very difficult. Otherwise, we would have considered staying elsewhere. One more thing to note is that there is a very loud club/bar directly opposite the villa. The music continues late into the night, making it difficult to sleep, especially if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing stay.
