A beautiful home with a kind host and excellent sauna
10.0I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Mori. It's a sprawling guest house with ample amenities. I appreciated having easy access to laundry, a full kitchen, and multiple rooms. I traveled alone, but you could easily house multiple people here comfortably. The bath area is especially nice with a very deep bath. The sauna is excellent as well. It's worth the daily cost, and it's well maintained. The patio is spacious with plenty of room to relax between sauna sessions. There are neighboring houses, but the host has done a lot to ensure you have privacy with a cover and tall fences. The home's interior is beautiful as well. There's ample air conditioning that gets plenty cold if you travel in the summer like I did. The provided futons were very comfortable as well. The home is in a great location. I had no issue walking to it from the station with my luggage. It's right next to a grocery store and a short walk from many bakeries, izakaya, stores, and more. I also walked to a few notable attractions like the Southernmost point of Honshu and the Hashiguiiwa rocks.

10.0Our stay with Masa was incredible. He was very welcoming, giving us a detailed tour of the ryokan, introducing us to the tea ceremony, and preparing the onsen for us. The accommodations themselves were perfect: spacious, clean, and every detail was thought out to make this place exceptional. It was the most beautiful ryokan we stayed at during our trip and by far not the most expensive! Masa also gave us lots of culinary and cultural tips to help us make the most of our stay in Miyajima, and he let us enjoy our last day stress-free by letting us leave our suitcases at the ryokan. Our only regret was not staying longer. Thank you, Masa, for your kindness and warmth, we’ll be happy to return to Miyajima!

10.0Our family (two adults and two children) was staying in this place for 4 days/3 nights and the experience in this place was nothing but a very memorable and unique experience. The facility is traditional japanese style house, so, while staying in this place you also get a chance to immerse into the culture and heritage of Japan. The place is very clean and has all necessary items for convenient and smooth stay. Everything is well organised and clear - all the instructions are left by the owner of the place. Maybe Kushimoto itself is not the most busiest spot in Japan, but it is perfect place to be if you want to escape from the fast pace of big cities like Tokyo, Kyoto or Osaka. It is very calm and has a very beautiful nature around - mountains, ocean, endless forests and parks in it. Thank you for e memorable experience and possibility to slow down and fall into calmer scenary of Japan 🌞🫶

10.0The house is beautiful and spacious with all the necessary amenities. It’s spotless clean and the outdoor sauna is a big plus we enjoyed it a lot. The host the friendly. We really enjoyed this stay. Also the supermarket is right next door super convenient
