Relaxed base for a few days in a distinctive and less visited corner of Newfoundland.

Location is exceptional, just up from a rocky cove and set next to beautifully kept, colourful homes, and among friendly people of Greenspond. The house is a spacious rebuild of a charmingly creaky older home, with up-to-date amenities.

− No ice cubes or ice cube tray on arrival, and no salt, dashing hoped for cold G&T and cooked meal. Difficult to reach anyone local or find any information to deal with this prior to our departure three days later. (I had misplaced the non-local owner's phone number, which is not published.)
