Great location for a family get together
8.0The location was fantastic - walking distance to beach, local pub. The house was spacious - perfect for three generations with the downstairs unit (double bed, bathroom, sitting area and kitchenette) being self contained. We also loved the responsiveness of the manager when we called with a complaint about the cleanliness on arrival - she rectified the problem with grace and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The front verandah was spacious and a great place to gather as a family.
− Not really a "don't like" but we were surprised that the indoor furniture (lounge room) was actually an outdoor setting. However I guess this makes sense as they are easier to maintain and more robust. We spent so little time inside it made no difference.
Overall, we had a brilliant stay, perfect for families, just minor maintenance required.
8.0Location is perfect for an easy walk to the beach and to the straddie hotel. Had everything at the house we needed.
− Some of the screens had large holes in them and kept us from opening up windows because of mozzies at night. One screen in the lounge room was falling out of its track and wouldn’t slide to open the window. The front fenced area for dogs is completely overgrown as are the steps next to the driveway. The doors upstairs and downstairs were both tricky to lock/unlock with the keys.
Great location, house was well appointed and spacious.

− Some kitchen appliances (ie the kettle downstairs wasn’t working) and could use a few more warm blankets. Other than that it had everything we needed.
