Amazing spacious propery/Hall, with incredible vast gardens

The grounds were extensive and under represented on the decription. They wer ebeautiful and great for the dogs and if we had younger children would have been amazing. The peoperty is so spacious, we didn't even use allt he rooms. Pool was great too, a real bonus.

− Some parts of the property were a little tired, but it didn't spoil our experience. 2 of the bedrooms the windows didn't open which was a bit of an issue but again, not the end of the world.

A lot of grounds and nice views, spacious house

− Pool was cold there was no heating, we were not told this so it ruined the trip as the whole point was to enjoy the pool. They did not respond upon messaging or calling. Door in the livi no room did not close properly so room was cold.Seems like property isnt cleaned properly dust and cobwebs everywhere. The ceiling in one of the room looks like its about to break, which made us question our safety.

Amazing stay. The house is lovely and the grounds are stunning. Would definitely rebook.

What a beautiful house! We had an amazing holiday here and can’t fault it at all. Clean, tidy, amazing grounds, lovely heated pool, plenty of supplies and everything worked well. We’d definitely rebook and recommend to everyone!

The property is absolutely beautiful, in a stunning area, with a wonderful garden. The rooms are lovely and well equipped. Clare at Host and Stay was particularly helpful when we needed support.

− The pool boiler was broken so it was too cold to swim in. The dishwasher kept tripping, not working properly, a toilet seat was broken and the wifi did not work. The property was double booked meaning we missed out on one night.

The house itself is nice. The location is superb

− The pool wasnt as heated. Its suppose to be between 20-25 degrees. Reported it but nobody came and nobody came through. Rang the numbers through host and stay and booking.com but none of them could help us. There were ladybugs all over the living rooms and bedrooms

The grounds are stunning and the property itself is very grand. The main lounge is well maintained and incredibly comfortable. The pool is a real plus for the property and was so warm - it was fantastic.

− The second lounge has a particularly old door which doesn’t seal well and so this room was too cold to sit in. There were lots of ladybirds all around and in the house, particularly in the large double bedroom on the highest floor. Some of the dining furniture was really poor quality and broke without cause while two guests were sat. That being said the Silton team were swift and responsive when we messaged them which is all we could ask for. I felt some of the facilities were lacking in a property intended for such a large group. There was no jug for table water for meals, the cooker was slow to cook food through and the sharp knives were dull which made it hard to prepare. But I understand part of that comes with a frequently used property.
