9.0We absolutely loved our stay! The welcome pack on arrival was such a lovely touch. The cottage is perfectly located — within easy walking distance of everything in the lovely town, and an ideal base for exploring Northumberland. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, and we were notified when the cottage was ready for an earlier check in. Elaine provided exceptional service throughout our stay; when we had a query about a kitchen appliance, she responded within just two minutes. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return ourselves! ☺️
Dog friendly cottage in great location.
9.0Great location, the cottage had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. A very impressive welcome hamper and plenty of recommendations for visit the surrounding area. The cottage is both child and dog friendly. Perfect for a family break.
− I thought the 5 pm checkin was quite late but we did get notified that the cottage was ready a few hours earlier. The 10 am checkout was earlier than other properties but it suited us on this occasion

Joyful family holiday treat!
9.0Very generous welcome gifts which supported locally businesses which we really appreciated. Also good quality info on local businesses, walks, attractions. Host was very helpful and friendly. Bright cheerful accommodation, with everything you could need in the kitchen. And absolutely great location - close to harbour and just a few minutes walk to the high street shops. Walk to lovely Warkworth and its interesting atmospheric castle was easy along the river bank and took just under half an hour. Highly recommend taking the boat trip to Coquet Island to see the Puffins, Guillemots, seals and in our case a pod of dolphins! Location was close to the main coast road.
− The kitchen and bathroom taps were workable but not easy to use ie kitchen tap all or nothing and bathroom tap very stiff.
