Good for an overnight stay

It was in a good location for our visit to Oakham, Gates Garden Centre & Hambleton Bakery. The cottage was lovely & warm. It was very nice to have 2 bathrooms and we would book again when visiting the area.

− Would benefit from some better quality bedding.

The location was perfect and comfortable for a family of 5. Amenities was perfect. Cleanliness was great. Had tvs in all rooms so everyone was entertained. Plenty of space. Parking right outside.8mins to do a big shop. Pub a 3min walk. Lovely pretty and peaceful village. It's just off main route so perfect. We will be back for sure.

A very pleasant, comfortable place to stay, well equipped.

There was a nice welcome pack... bread, butter, milk, biscuits. Everywhere was nice and clean and modern. Useful information folder with details about the cottage and the area.

− The lack of a handrail up the stairs. The bedside 'tables' were modern but not very practical.
