Fabulous location, fabulous villa

− We arrived in the evening, missed the small gate and didn't know how to get to the property and then had a hard time finding the key safe

Beautiful property that is too far out of town to be useful. This property is NOT in Greve!

This is a beautiful property located well outside of Greve. Several maintenance issues were present but long term I believe the new management will take care of them.

− Totally fraudulent entry on the booking platform. This property was shown as being a 5 minute walk to City Center in Greve. It was actually 5 Km outside of town, up a very steep hill. Taxis would not generally service us because of the distance. The one we did find wanted 60 Euros each way to Greve. We arrived with no food and dinner reservations which we couldn't make. I wouldn't want to make that 5 KM drive up the mountain in the dark even if we had a car. which we didn't. We were basically stuck there every evening.

The size and facilities at the property are perfect for a group. Greve in Chianti has everything you need and is a short drive. However the condition of the gravel road is poor so be prepared for the climb and purchase supplies at the village before heading to the villa. The view from the property is worth the drive.
