Cozy, comfortable, attractive, updated Incline condo

This is a small but comfortable and cozy condo located in the heart of Incline. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds and pillows etc were very comfy. Everything was sparkling clean and the host, Willie, was friendly and helpful. We were perfectly comfortable over New Years Eve on a ski trip - it’s about 40 mins from Palisades, a pretty drive. You’re super close to a large Raleys, a good Grocery Outlet, and several restaurants. We enjoyed Koi Sushi.

− Everything was fine but note - the carport is challenging if you have a large car. And the microwave is super powerful - I burned my hand on a coffee cup after 1 min heating.

The location of the house was in a quiet and peaceful area that made it relaxing to sit outside and have the doors/windows open. The interior of the house was nicely decorated and had comfortable beds along with kitchen being fully stocked with dishes.

− The inside of the house was hot and uncomfortable, with minimal A/C. They only had one portable A/C unit to cool the entire house (2 bedrooms with only bedside fans). It didn’t do much to cool the rooms or bathroom. It made it hard to relax inside the home, especially during the middle of the day. We also noticed that the place could’ve been cleaner—the floors needed to be swept and mopped. There were also quite a few dirty dishes in the cabinets as well.

Incline is always fun to visit.

We actually got a chance to se a bear walk right by our porch.

− There was no detergent for the dishwasher or washing machine.

Very clean, beautifully decorated, modern decor, beautiful finishes and appliances, plenty of supplies provided (soap, shampoo, body wash, dish and laundry detergent, paper towels, linens... blankets, towels, wash cloths). Could have used 1 more roll of TP though - we were there for 7 days (3 rolls provided).

− Carport parking very difficult because of stones directly in front of carport. We were driving a mini-van, so this wouldn't be a problem for a smaller car. Also, screen for front door was almost impossible to open/ close. Not a big deal, but it needs adjusting or repair. Fireplace remote was a little weird. Instructions needed for settings on remote and how to use it to make fire light. You have to long press the "on" button or press it multiple times to make it light. I thought it was broken at first, but then it finally worked. The owner sent someone out to check this during our stay and made sure it was working. I was not doing it right. Just needed some clear instructions for operating remote🙂 Also, a reclining chair would be nice in the living room for older people to put their feet up comfortably lol.
