Charming but I don’t think I will be back

It was a beautiful apartment. Lots of space. All of the furniture was quite comfortable. The location was excellent if you’re doing anything at the hospitals. The host was incredibly understanding and flexible. I ran into issues around checkout.

− When I arrived, there were some issues with the cleanliness. It seemed as if it was just a poor job done by the cleaning service provider and not anything to do with the property itself. The street noise is very loud. I was not informed that there was no elevator access until the day of my booking, which was incredibly inconvenient for my disabled child. There’s very little insulation between the neighbors upstairs in the unit. Every step that was taken or item that was dropped in the unit above , was heard throughout the entire unit. The rooms do not get dark, even at night because there is a light shining in the bedroom window and the blinds do not close enough to keep out light.

− Some of the key advertised facilities were not included (bath, fitness centre), and the kitchen/laundry were not stocked.

It was such a comfortable and beautifully decorated space. Great location and had everything needed!! Wry clean as well. Highly recommend a great place to stay-you will be very glad you chose this property.

Updated, modern and comfortable. Very clean and spacious. The apartment looks just like the pictures. It was very quiet and easy to check in and out.

− My main complaint is the lack of privacy. The living room balcony doors don’t have any curtains or blinds. The check in communications stated we could request a partition for privacy and I did so as soon as we checked in (and it wasn’t late in the evening). I was told they wouldn’t be able to bring one until the next day and that we would be prioritized to receive one as soon as possible. We didn’t end up receiving the partition until the following afternoon. We only stayed for 2 nights so it only helped so much. There was plenty of space to store a folding partition within the unit - it seems like it would make a lot more sense to keep the privacy partitions in the coat closet, laundry room, etc. vs requiring guests to request one and then making them wait almost an entire 24 hours for one. The living room can be seen from the street, especially at night when there are lights on. The property also only allocates one towel per guest - one bath towel and one washcloth. And I believe one hand towel between 2 guests. I requested additional towels and was told that couldn’t be accommodated. As a woman… with long hair… it’s difficult to use 1 towel. And the towels provided are regular sized, super basic towels, not bath sheets, or towels that are large in any way. It just seems silly to be so strict about something so small. Even at the most boring hotel I could have 2 towels per person.
