Rural, rustic, and convenient.
8.0It was in a good location, close enough to San Ignacio but right outside the city and in a very quiet, rural area. It's only about 15 minutes from all the tour companies for excursions to ATM cave, etc. It's a very nice rustic cabin. It's literally like living on a farm. It has a mini kitchen with pots/pans and dishes so we could buy fresh food at the market and cut down on dining expenses. The internet was reliable and the bed was comfortable enough.
Pleasant Staying
6.0To be in the middle of the jungle and having 9 crocodiles in the morning in the pond in front of the cabana. Also the donkey and the cows makes it very rural.

10.0La cabin è molto grande, pulita e accogliente, in una zona adiacente alla giungla, si affaccia su un laghetto dove è possibile ammirare coccodrilli, iguane, aironi, tartarughe e molto altro.. un simpatico scoiattolo ogni mattina correva sull'albero dietro al dondolo in veranda. Bellissimo dormire con i suoni della natura in sottofondo. La cucina è ben attrezzata, la doccia ha l'acqua calda. Il proprietario gentilissimo, disponibile e ci ha dato buoni consigli. Ci è stato di grandissimo aiuto quando abbiamo avuto problemi con l'auto (necessaria per arrivare qui). Dalla cabin si può intraprendere a piedi un sentiero nella giungla

6.0The cabin was pleasant, had basic necessities. I deducted two stars because there was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION from the host. The site said there would be no one present at check in and directions would be sent prior to arrival. I heard nothing, even after reaching out multiple times. I was concerned about arriving in early evening and not knowing how to get in. Turns out there was a lock with a key in it in the front door. Also, not this host’s fault, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to get through to Hotels.com for any assistance after 45 mins on hold and multiple chat attempts. I have traveled extensively and will never use hotels.com again.
