Helen's House is absolutely amazing! It is in a prime location in the centre of Derry. The house itself is decorated to an exceptionally high standard. The beds are all comfy and there is plenty of seating in the living room and dining room. The cleanliess was first class! The extra touches of milk, bottles of water, butter, jam, and marmalade made the stay less stressful. Tea, coffee and biscuits were also provided. If you're going to Derry stay in Helen's House. I will definately be returning in the near future. Thanks.

The owner made our stay very easy! Entry with the code, access to a nice TV room and there was coffee, tea, milk and butter available when we arrived. Great location - right outside in Derry's walled city for quick access. We felt very safe there and there were restaurants and pubs just around the corner. Quiet at night.

− For older visitors: there are two bedrooms on the top floor that required going to the second floor for a bathroom. Not an issue for kids or teens!

The Highlights: This was hands-down our best stay in Ireland! The home is "cozy chic"—exceptionally clean, bright, and airy thanks to the large windows. We loved the spacious, well-stocked kitchen which came with thoughtful touches like milk, butter, jams, and a full coffee/tea bar. After a long day, the comfortable TV room was the perfect place to relax. The layout is very functional, featuring a convenient main-floor powder room and a luxurious upstairs bathroom with a walk-in shower and a huge soaker tub. They even provided a washer with soap, clear instructions, and a drying rack, which was incredibly helpful. The outdoor patio was a lovely bonus for soaking up the sun. Location: The location is unbeatable. You are just steps from the historic Derry walls and a short walk to the Peace Bridge. The area felt very safe and is surrounded by small grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. Plus, it’s just around the corner from a street full of pubs with fantastic live music. Note for Travelers: The bedrooms are located on the second and third floors, so keep the stairs in mind if mobility is a concern. House is on a one way street, parking can be tricky. Verdict: We could have easily stayed a week here. It truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you, Helen’s House!

I loved everything about our stay. We were four friends staying for the weekend and the host left plenty of milk, tea, coffee and water. The bathroom was stocked with towels and the house was spotlessly clean! The location itself is in a brilliant area, just around from all the pubs and shops. If we visit Derry again we would 100% stay here again.
