Hosts could do better, a few simple low cost fixes wouldn't go amiss. House needs some TLC.
5.0The location was good for us because it was close to family and it was fine for a short stay. Beds were comfortable, showers fine. It had enough room for our group (7 adults) and there was parking at the back of the property. WiFi worked well and there was a small desk, the house was cool in the warm weather so that was nice. Nice table but not enough placemats for all of us (or chairs!). We took our own coffee pot and took turns sitting down to eat!
− The key code did not work, we had to contact the host twice to be let in remotely, hosts then said we needed an app to get in which was not mentioned before we attempted to unlock the door and were at the property locked out. Also, host asked for a security deposit the day before but the link did not work (and kids know technology ) so I had to ask a family member to call them. The key code should have worked without an app, that was very bad on their part. They did not provide enough plates, cups, cutlery for the number of people in our party and we had to wash up before everyone could eat. No handrail in the downstairs shower, had to take a chair in for towel/clothes. Living room door made a loud banging noise every time it was used and the toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom was loose.
