10.0The Hotelis set in its own grounds just off a modrately busy road. We were welcomed when we entered the hotel and check in was very easy. We were shown to our room which was light and airy with very high celings. The Bathroom had a beautiful roll-top bath and a large shwer with a 'waterfall' head. (Great control and none of this water going from hot to cold you sometimes get) We didn't eat here as we were meeting friends in Derby so can't comment about the food but we did have breakfast here which we both enjoyed. Overall a great experience and we would certainly recommend to others and we will use again next time we're in the area. The hotel was getting ready for a wedding the next day and the planning and work going into this was great to see. If the staff do half as much for their guests and other functions then they will have no worries for the future. All in all 5 stars from us

Perfect quiet classic country hotel.
10.0Lovely quiet stay with very comfortable beds. Great room sizes and the bathrooms are very nicely done. The staff are the star of this hotel, super friendly. We requested something outside the norm to help with hospital appointments and the staff really went above and beyond to help us, made our stay and difficult hospital trips so much easier. We didnt get chance to sample the food but no doubt it would have been as good as the rest of the stay. If you are looking for a classic quiet country hotel then choose this one. If you want ulter modern with gym etc, then not for you. 100% will stay again.

10.0The staff were very friendly from check-in to check out. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were so friendly and accomodating. A really charming b&b and would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

10.0Lovely friendly welcome and chat, room was cosy and bright and clean, bathroom was amazing with a fantastic shower, the staff were all brilliant. Sally on reception and Ben behind the bar. Then Derrick was waiting for us to come back from the pub with an umbrella as it was pouring with rain and a pint and lovely chat he even showed us around the property. Great breakfast and lots of conversation . Altogether lovely place to stay. Thank you all
