Nice house, quiet spot, convenient parking, fairly close to the Gulch and the Grand

It's a bit of an uphill walk from downtown but that was a positive for me. I'm hoping to complete the Bisbee 1000 in October so I needed some stair work at altitude. The house was ideally situated for checking out stairways #4 & 5

− Like many of the older buildings in Bisbee this house has settled a little so the floors aren't exactly level. Not unexpected and not a big deal to me. Probably actually helpful in getting used to walking around Bisbee.

This is a very eclectic place with lots of random paraphernalia as decor that fits perfectly into the overall ambiance that makes Bisbee, Arizona such a quaint little hippie town. Additionally, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with all the items you would need to make this a weeklong stay.

− It was a bit of a climb for my 84 year old wife to make it up the hill from the parking spot to the house. However, I think that this is part of its charm.

I’d definitely stay there again and recommend friends and family

Location and host were amazing and kind.

− the oven was broke and the fridge was a little dirty. No big deal, it wasn’t super clean overall. it nothing major

Location and style! The location and overall space were great! Loved the walkability to downtown, the two rooms and hangout spaces, the quirkiness of the decor are all totally our style.

− When we arrived, there was a half-drunk glass of water left on the counter. We found mouse droppings on the kitchen counter and drying rack, the coffee supply was empty, and the hand soaps (especially in the bathroom) were so watered down they barely worked. The beds were also quite soft with noticeable lumps and dips, which made for an uncomfortable night’s sleep. We also found the dryer’s lint trap completely full and the housing wasn’t secured properly — a fire hazard we ended up fixing ourselves — and the ice maker was malfunctioning, continuously dumping cubes with no tray to catch them. We reached out to the property owner directly after checkout with these details so they could address them before the next guests arrived, but never received a response. Given the safety concern with the dryer and the pest issue in the kitchen, we’d recommend future guests go in with that in mind.

This house is so cozy and comfy, very functional, and in a perfect location to enjoy Old Bisbee. The historical charm and little details make it exceptional.
