Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les chats du riad, notamment l'un d'eux, Zizi, qui se promenait sur la terrasse et qui était particulièrement amical. Les chambres sont joliment décorées, confortables et très agréables. Le salon principal du riad est magnifique, avec une fontaine dont le doux bruit de l'eau invite à la détente. Le riad est également très bien décoré, avec de nombreuses plantes, dont de superbes cactus. Le salon, baigné d'une agréable fraîcheur grâce à l'ombre, est un véritable havre de paix pendant les journées ensoleillées. Le mobilier, notamment les canapés et les lits, est très confortable. Le riad est particulièrement calme, ce qui permet de se reposer parfaitement après une journée passée dans l'animation et le bruit de Marrakech. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux et varié. Le personnel dont Marouane est sympathique, efficace et nous a donné de nombreux conseils très utiles pour découvrir Marrakech. La piscine est petite, mais agréable pour se rafraîchir et s'amuser. Enfin, la terrasse est très agréable en soirée et offre une jolie vue sur la Koutoubia.

Three wonderful days in the Riad Contessa

We spent three days in the colourful Riad Contessa in Marrakech and it was a special time just from the beginning: the hosting was perfect, in a dreamlike Moroccan atmosphere, with a good mint tea served near a little refreshing fountain. The room was so large! Comparable to a little flat: we could spend relaxing moments during the hottest hours. Two cats, a little rooftop pool and the charming silence completed our wonderful staying in the Riad Contessa. No problems with food intollerances, they greatly managed them. The breakfast was special, as it was homecooked. Thanks to suggestions provided by our host Marwan, we appreciated the most beautiful areas in Marrakech and the best restaurants. His kindness and knowledge of the city is a added value in the hosting of the Riad. We strongly recommend this Riad if you want to understand the heritage of the past Moroccan hosting and staying in relax, just few minutes walking from the beating heart of the city

Amazing accomodation, beautiful decorated and very comfortable. Our room was so beautiful and very clean. The pool area was great with sunbeds and hats provided. Pool was great after walking around. Breakfast was plentiful and high quality and we enjoyed this on the rooftop terrace. Marouane was very professional and provided a welcome drink, biscuits and showed us around the property on arrival and gave recommendations of places to visit and eat. This is one of the best properties we have stayed in Morocco. It is also very quiet and private and excellent location to walk to the main sites.

An oasis of calm amidst a crazy city. Roof terrace pool was a plunge pool but perfect. Great sun bathing area on roof. Very helpful staff. Hammam and massages excellent and good value. The courtyard was a place of solace.

− Small things - should empty bin each day, maybe more bins in rooms/suite. Maybe more hooks for towels in bathroom. Otherwise amazing!
