Good location but mouse droppings by bed and dirty pants in a bed is not good!

The proximity to the beach and Tenby town. Plenty of parking and the size of the property suited our family.

− I don’t know where to begin. The property is just not clean enough. Upon our arrival my daughter went to explore and within 10 minutes found a dirty pair of pants in a bed. There was someone else’s dirty socks in the washing machine and the house was literally full of cobwebs and spiders. I spent most of the first evening cleaning before the rest of our family arrived. When my daughter moved a table to plug her phone in there were mouse droppings behind the table. Gross!! One of the single beds was broken forcing my 25 year old son to sleep on a bottom bunk in a room with his grandparents, problem here was that the en suit bathroom pipes were sticking through the follow which he rolled into several times in the night. In the end he slept on a sofa. The areas around the bed were disgusting, dirty and had dirty socks lying around. I could honestly go on and on and on about how dirty areas of this house was. Saving grace was that it was so close to the town and beach that we spent a lot of time out. But I couldn’t wait to wash the place off me when I got home and washed all clothes taken, even those not used as we felt dirty from sleeping there. I emailed the property management company about this when I arrived home (25th July), I shared photographs of the issues and formally requested that the cleaning fees that we all get charged, be refunded to me. To this date, the property management company have not replied to my refund request email. I am now trying to do this through Booking.com but they are not replying to them either. I feel sorry for the home owners who clearly use the property management company in good faith. If you look at their website, they state that they will leave properties they manage “sparkling for your next guests”. This is outrageous. If I were the owners, I would employ a company to carry out a thorough deep clean and then find a more professional and reliable management company.

It was very close to the beach and also the town . It had everything in that we needed ,also the beds were very comfortable.

Lovely clean spacious house, very comfortable

− It’s at the bottom of a huge hill so if your unfit be prepared!

Despite a few issues and disappointing weather we enjoyed our holiday

Location was perfect and internal space good for families

− Lack of garden, beds were too short for tall people, We had to keep resetting the hot water to get any. Toilet flush in main bathroom unreliable. Outside decking shabby and slippery when wet, not ideal for children. The end bedroom smelt of smoke on arrival.

Location was fantastic

− Although toilets, sinks and kitchen were clean, the floors were dirty. There were thick cobwebs everywhere. There was rubbish left under beds. Half the light bulbs didn't work. But the worse problem was the extremely noisy pipework. We couldn't use the flush or the taps during the night as the noise was horrendous.
