− The room wasn’t cleaned and the towels weren’t replaced - also no place to hang towels to dry

− Miserable and rude reception staff. Allocated a room on the ground floor that was basically a single room with a double bed in it. No room whatsoever and way too small for a couple. Complained to reception and we were reallocated another room on the third floor. No glasses in the room (hotel policy - Why?). No shelf or towel rail in the bathroom so nowhere to put anything yet alone personal toiletries. Room was bigger and exactly matched the one we reserved but still very small. Staff were miserable yet again when leaving and entering the hotel. £5 per item charge for storing our luggage after checkout! Would not stay there again.
