9.0No. 2, The Esplanade. 6 flights of stairs up to ‘The Nest’ for staggering sea views directly overlooking the beach. Fresh milk and Welsh Cakes left by the host (thank you!). The highlight for us was the bespoke rooftop terrace and custom wooden bench set on the actual slate roof, which is a really nice outside space for enjoying the views. The modern open plan apartment is relatively small however it’s well designed to maximise the space and fitted out to a very high standard. The full kitchen is well equipped and has nice Denby plates and decent glassware. Nice new bathroom with a quality walk-in shower compliments ‘The Nest’.
− The only thing I can think to improve is to consider leaving a window ajar on hot sunny (heatwave) days to allow some fresh air. It was 28C inside the apartment when we arrived and sweltering.

8.0A very nice space, great views a well-stocked kitchen and great shower
− A constant unpleasant smell (possibly due to damp patches?) The apartment could do with more diffusers The loo seat was loose - needs a quick fix! The double bed is fine for anyone shorter than 5 ft 5.. otherwise it’s a bit too short unfortunately. The six sets of stairs were expected, but tough when have luggage.
Beautiful location, comfortable, with sea views. Perfection.

Fantastic apartment
10.0The apartment was fantastic, brilliant location, views to die for. It was immaculate, couldn't ask for more. The walk in shower was really great. Booking.com need to update their advert for the property, their photos show a bath but it's been replaced with a wonderful shower. Wished we'd booked for longer.
− Obviously it's a top floor apartment and 6 flights of stairs is tough going, but worth it when you get to the top.
