Swimming pool

− Parking was a nightmare. Being woken every day at 5am by the mini zoo peacocks and cockerel

A comfortable stay

A clean and modern apartment with plenty of room, and we were very comfortable. It was well equipped and peaceful. The swimming pool (though not big or deep) was very nice for a dip. Communication was always good and everyone there was really nice and helpful. There were animals in the garden (goats, ducks, large peacocks) but they were in small cages and we didn’t ever see them let out on the lawn. I hope they are.

− Location was a good base but we couldn’t walk anywhere….It’s quite remote and on a ‘main’ road with no pavements. The WiFi and water pressure were both very poor. The shower needs a rubber mat - it is very slippy (I see others have mentioned this) and it’s dangerous. The sensor lights in the hall were bright and unnecessary, especially in the middle of the night! But overall we had a nice stay and would recommend. It’s just friendly feedback :)

The apartment was in a convenient location, spacious and with off road parking.

− The name for the apartment was incorrect (Gower View rather than Vista Suite) which led to walking around the building in the rain on arrival until I called Stay Gower to be told the name had changed. The Wifi didn't work on arrival, I was informed someone would be looking at it that day but nothing happened, and I had to call again the next day, after which it was sorted. One of the party had difficulty sleeping due to being in the room next to the noisy boiler, which was only quiet between midnight and 5am. The peacocks kept in the garden disturbed two of us, calling from dawn onwards. There were some basics missing from the kitchen: soap, surface wipes, washing up cloths/pads, chopping board, bread board, towel, only one tea towel. A plug socket in one of the rooms was loose, pulling away from the wall. The automatic lights in the hall were bright and went on and off too readily.

− Ikke helt rent når vi kom, WiFi fungerte ikke og ble ordnet først etter 3 dager. Lite utstyr på kjøkkenet, bl.a manglet skjærefjøl. Ikke oppvaskmaskin.

We had a relaxing stay at Ocean Breeze! The apartment was clean, bright, well-equipped, warm when heating turned on, and comfortable, offering great value for money. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and spotless. The kitchen was also well-equipped but a little on the small side. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach and coastal paths or a 5-minute drive. It’s a peaceful spot with stunning views of the surrounding area. We ate in The Ship Inn, Port Eynon on the Saturday night, excellent food and friendly staff. The owners at Ocean Breeze were accommodating, friendly and responsive. Highly recommended for a quiet Gower getaway!"

− Ocean Breeze accommodates 6 people but the dinning area has a table and only 4 chairs. Although the place was clean there were some personal items left in one of the bedrooms by the last people. The swimming pool wasn’t heated as advertised and it had rubbish and grass cutting in the bottom. Each night we needed to phone the owners to put the heating on, it was then put on straight away. The kitchen was very small, allowing only one person at a time to work efficiency. The smell of marijuana through open windows and very strong in the lobby.
