6.0The location is stunning and it’s clear the town is still recovering after the fires. The hotel’s a quick walk to town, but the website really needs an update. Our room looked refreshed, but the shower was a nightmare—either boiling or freezing, no in-between. Reception was empty the whole time, so no way to report it. Most facilities weren’t working: games room locked, restaurant and café clearly closed for ages, gym and sauna looked abandoned. Rubbish bags and loose rubbish scattered everywhere, throughout the grounds of this beautiful property. Laundry seemed to work though. This place has real potential, but right now it’s not what’s advertise
