Lake Harmony is a very quaint area, various eateries in the small community. It was a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

The room was very clean, and also the food was excellent at the Mexican restaurant, Connor was our waiter and did an excellent job.

The lodge looks and appears as though it is minimally upkept a mind somewhat forgotten. The lake tea that is designated for swimming has been closed since June so don’t plan on bringing younger children there as it really doesn’t have much to offer them. The indoor pool looks like it hasn’t been cared for regularly and makes you question its cleanliness.

The name “luxury” accompanied by the price tag and being on a lake had me expecting at least a better than average hotel. If this place was every “luxury” it was 1975. Almost everything is outdated other than the cheap remodeling that has been done. First the address takes you to the wrong location, then when you find it, no one is actually there and there’s a hand written sign saying to check in at the “Town Center” which we finally found about 2 miles down the road only to have to come back to the place we were. From hallways with no lights to the torn carpet, finding our room felt like the beginning of a horror movie. Once we finally did find the room, it was small and a mix of things that obviously cost the least amount of money to furnish the room. Not even the bed was comfortable, let alone the tiny couch or what I think is supposed to be a chair. The exhaust fan in the bathroom sounded like it was about to explode and the water took about 10 minutes to finally warm up enough to shower. In short, I’ve had better stays at $75 hotels. Definitely not worth even half the price.
