Quirky Pub
8.0Lovely staff, very clean bedroom, fabulous breakfast. Very convenient, middle of town, easy to park, really good price. Fabulous entertainment on the night we stayed.
− Building was a little tired and dated. Don't expect plush and modern but I'm being picky.
You get what you pay for !
5.0Traditional, old, busy local pub with rooms, very friendly manager, okay for a night as a stop over, reasonable priced, I paid £156 for 2 single rooms with breakfast, the car park was quite difficult to find, behind the pub and through a gate but no extra charge for parking and no extra charge for the dog which was great. Beds comfy enough.
− Old tired building with dated facilities, old furniture and creaky floors. anyone with mobility issues may struggle with the narrow steep stairs, we had one room at the front which was really noisy with traffic and one room at the back which was so noisy from the beer garden, so bring earplugs !
Restful night, decent beer and food. Good parking facility’s
