10.0Breakfast was amazing as were the hosts. Friendly lovely couple would definitely recommend and we will visit again.
A lovely property with lovely hosts and a great garden to sit out in of an evening.
10.0There was easy on-site parking when we arrived. We were welcomed by Penny when we entered the property and she explained about the breakfast order system and told us fresh milk was available each day from the fridge. Our room was bright and clean, with a lovely, comfy bed. Breakfast was fantastic.
− The internet signal was a bit patchy and the TV froze intermittently, but this wasn't a great problem. This also seemed to be the case generally in North Devon.

10.0We had a lovely stay at The Spinney Guest House in Shirwell. Our room was comfortable, clean, and very welcoming. The breakfasts were exceptional, and the hosts were friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. We would happily recommend The Spinney and hope to return in the future.
