Great place to stay for exploring the north east coast!
10.0Nice big house, easy to find. Big bedroom and separate bathroom at our disposal, complete with modern shower, as well as old style bath. Breakfast cooked specially for us. Very quiet village, short walk to pub in Eglingham for evening meal. Run by a very nice lady!!

9.0Rustic charm and excellent host. Sally was very attentive and we enjoyed our chats with our friendly host on a morning. Would’ve stayed an extra night but was fully booked. I loved the fact that the guest rooms were not next door to each other so we didn’t hear any of the other guests in their rooms. Would definitely go back!!

Exceptional stay with a fantastic host.
10.0Very spacious, clean and comfortable room with everything that you would need including a fridge, hairdryer and coffee facilities. The room was cleaned every morning and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Very quiet and no noise with a lovely garden view. Sally was fantastic and very accommodating and we had some great conversations. She recommended a lot of things to do. The pub down the road was close enough to walk to and the food there was lovely too. A thoroughly enjoyable stay which we will definitely stay at again.

10.0Sally was a super hostess. Lovely location. Nothing near by if need shops etc. lovely local pub though, ten minutes walk away. Should not be classed as Alnwick, as 7 miles away or so. We thought it was nearer for visiting castle etc .
− Super bathroom in our room, but free standing bath, which was difficult for me with mobility issues. Purely personal view for me. Nothing against there to be honest.

7.0Lovely house, short walk from the pub. Nice breakfast but dining room a little dark. Host was lovely.
− Upon arrival the host had mixed her weeks up so wasnt aware we were arriving. This resulted in our room not being ready despite the booking being comfirmed. She was apologetic and our room was ready around 40 mins later. Room was nice but the shower ran cold after a short while.
