Cosy Canal Studio is in easy walking distance to most touristy things. There are plenty of eateries close by, as well as a supermarket. We were there on a Saturday and the weekly artisan market was on in the square around the corner and had beautiful fresh produce. The bed was comfortable with a nice shower. Babette is a wonderful host, very helpful and a great communicator.

− Cosy Canal Studio is in the basement of the building below street level. The steps down to it are steep. The entrance is into a laundry/storeroom, which isn't attractive or inviting. You can hear footsteps from upstairs and voices at times. The weather was exceptionally hot when we were there and only one window opened.

Perfect location for a short stay in Amsterdam

The location was absolutely perfect - it felt like we were only a ten minute walk from everything including the central station. There was a good amount of space for two people and Babette, who we had the pleasure of meeting briefly, was extremely helpful - offering to refresh the towels and allowing us to store our luggage after check out. The book of local recommendations was also great. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

Great place with lovely and helpful owner, ideal for a couple for a little get away

Great location, about 10 minutes walk from central station. Ideal for couples looking for a very reasonably priced room. Really lovely owner who was always ready to help and very quick on responses via the booking.com chat. All the basic facilities covered, despite not having air conditioning it remained cool even on the hotter days and a fan is available in the room. The room was clean and comfortable for me and my partner. And they have a swing in the hallway like that’s a lot of fun

− The only two things me and my partner thought could be improved was the shower grid didn’t cover the full width of the shower and that would cause quite a bit of water to run on the floor and just to have some bowels in the room. Other than that no issues at all

Muy simpáticos, y la ubicación excelente, por la noche los canales alrededor preciosos. La cama comodisim a y grande. Estuvimos genial. Fuimos andando a todas partes.

− Todo bien, es un sótano pero con vistas a un jardín privado. Quizás me hubiera faltado un microondas y una mesita, pero todo muy bien.

Not much to write home about on this property. It was clean is all.

− The property was hard to find, had no sign on the door. I rang a wrong bell first, and we were standing out in the rain trying to figure out how to get in the right door. Finally got buzzed in, but no real person to greet us. Opens into a basement laundry room full of stuff. Thought it would have a view of the canal, but it was a basement room in the back of the house, through the laundry room with little bitty windows to the back. Bathroom was private but down the hall. Nothing particularly attractive about the room. Not easy to figure out how the door worked, and never saw a real person.
