Homely stay in Leiden to explore the region
8.0We had a delightful 2 night stay in Leiden at De Pelgrimsplaats. It was tulip time and the Leiden location was perfect to visit Keukenhof. A short less than 10 minute walk takes you to the Centraal Station making it a perfect place to explore the region. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Although the WC and the small shower were separate, it really did not matter for us. Anna, our host prepared delightful hot breakfast for us in the morning. She also gave us an overview of the place, the heritage building and also tips for local sightseeing which was very useful. I recommend this accommodation - my only comment is that a few more rugs on the cold cement floor may make the room more comfortable in colder months.
