10.0Everything, the walks, nature, privacy, off the grid, facilities, comfort. It’s a sweet stop that I keep returning to and will continue to do so. I have stayed here a few times now as it is my own peaceful escape. It’s honestly amazing.

9.0Lovely stay in a beautiful scenic location. So lovely waking up to native birds singing. The outdoor bath is wonderful. There's a short walk to the waterfall and enchanted forest nearby. The Kanuka hut was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you 😊

5.0Communication with the hosts was friendly and fast, the bird song was incredible. The waterfall at the end of the walk was beautiful On a clear day the veiws would have amazing
− Unfortunately for us unpredictable NZ weather did not play ball it was a dull drizzly day. The walk to the waterfall was wet and slippery , down by the waterfall my wife rolled her ankle and fell pretty hard, by the time we got back to the hut she was in a fair amount of pain, so we abandoned our nights stay and opted for alternative accommodation with a few more creature comforts. We could imagine on a sunny day this would be a magical place to stay but due to our predicament the confines of the small freezer panel clad hut was not for us.
