10.0Fantastic quiet location. Loved the pond and surrounding area. Check in was easy. Fabulous hosts. Breakfast items provided with fresh eggs from on site chickens and honey from the bee hives.

10.0The breakfast provided included fresh food, eggs, honey, tasted even nicer knowing it was all their own. The host Steve was welcoming and easy to chat with, giving us lots of information about the area. The location is a peaceful retreat, feeling like everything just slowed down. It is quiet and far enough away from the busy-ness of the world, yet still a quick drive into the CBD. The cats are very friendly. We wish it had been cold enough to light the fire! And we could see Mt Taranaki from the front yard!
− Only one thing, the bathroom mirror is too high. Someone who is 5'2" can only see their forehead!
A delightful retreat under the mountain
10.0We love this property. The garden is delightful, and it’s very nice to sit on the little deck and enjoy its tranquility. The Rooms are very pleasant with every thing you need , comfy bed lovely quality bed linen , log burner to keep away the cold and a delicious breakfast for you to prepare. This is our third time here and we are very happy .
