Hidden Gem
10.0A beautiful remote location. The house has been refurbished to a very high standard, warm on those cold nights with a fire and double glazing. A quick stay for just one night on my way to the airport. Clare was a great host. The optional add on of food was divine and her passion for cooking and baking was greatly welcomed by my stomach! Two beautiful dogs, Scutz the sausage dog will melt your heart, as long as tummy tickles are provided. As a fellow Pom, crumble and ice cream put the cherry on top for me! Will book again with my family if we are back in the North Island. Thank you for your generosity and kindness. All the best to yourself and Steve.
Great place to stay in a quiet rural area :)
8.0Great host, very friendly and helpful. Well equipped kitchen. I self-catered but dinner was offered as an extra. Very tasty cheese cake :). Nice breakfast including a range of home-made jams. Host is.a mine of information about opshops :)
