− Velux window in bedroom meant room never got dark and was hot. It was the hottest day of the year, so I was unlucky.

10.0What a smashing gem this place is. The cost was cheap, which initially made me think it’s low budget. Wow, what a lovely surprise. Host is extremely friendly and very helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Room, bed, bath & shower, all perfect and homely. Surely cool in the hot weather, the room had a great view over the lake and trees. The garden here is beautiful and nice to sit in. The breakfast was delicious and lots of it. Great value for such a special place. Definitely staying again.
