Great location & comfortable stay

Friendly host, Heather, who greeted us from her garden with the dogs when we arrived. Great location as close to the main road, but also nearby some lovely greenery - some picturesque lakes just down the road. Very private with gated access. Good size for a few nights stay and the kitchen facilities are adequate to cook. Large size shower with good water pressure. Comfy bed and the heat was manageable with the Velux open and a fan provided by Heather. We are both 6ft+ and the limited head height in the bedroom wasn't actually that bad.

− The road is close and can be heard with the Velux open, so be aware if you are sensitive to noise when it's warm. If you were staying for a longer period, there isn't loads of storage. Some areas could do with a deep clean, which I previously mentioned to Heather, so hopefully this won't be an issue in future. The stairs are steep, so take note if you have mobility issues.

Lovely little space. Great local dog walk just opposite. Friendly host.

− The golden gravel. Very little headroom in the lovely bedroom upstairs.
