A really comfy room for any vistors to the Poole area!

We were attending the Harry Paye Day Pirate weekend event in June, so wanted somewhere to stay for 2 nights, which wasn't too far from the Poole Harbour area. We also wanted somewhere to park our car securely. Our car was parked right outside of our room's window on the forecourt to the bungalow on a main road, which was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast wasn't part of the deal, but there was a frdge, kettle & microwave inside a cupboard, with just enough basic cutlery & crockery for 2 people to cater for themselves, which we did, no problem, even taking back a couple of Tesco ready meals to heat up in the microwave, with chilled wine (we did pack a couple of wine glasses, though!). A really comfortable room & bed to appreciate after a busy fun time down by the harbour! Not knowing how easy parking would be in that area, we walked less than 2 minutes down the road & took the bus to the Quay, which was about 20 minutes walk away crom the bus terminus. It would've been better if the room was nearer to the Quay, as the journey by bus took about 40 minutes & the return taxi cost almost £20, but we would STILL stay at the Lily Pad again, where we were made to feel very welcome by Christine, the lovely landlady there!

Only that it would be better still if nearer to the town's Quay, but we managed okay anyway. :) The location would probably be perfect for other visitors staying for different reasons.

Room comfortable except the pillows, liked the quiet fridge.

The pillows were much too thick and there was no thinner alternative.

Clean and comfortable with everything needed to make a very pleasant stay

Great location. Broadstone village is an easy walk and Poole itself easily accessible by either bus or Uber. Very comfortable room with everything you could need. They readily answered any questions and weren't put off by the fact that our mode of transport was motorbikes like some other properties who have refused our stay because of it
