An excellent place to stay, which we would happily return to.
8.0Very comfortable and well fitted out; nice and cool during very hot weather. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Great selection of books to read! Off-street parking was useful. Collection of key was convenient.
− Few very minor things. Bathroom could have had more in way of shelving for toiletries etc. Road outside was busier than expected, and a bit noisy during rush hour. Turning into driveway was a bit tight - we could have struggled if we had had a bigger car.
Relaxing stay
10.0We had a lovely time exploring the area. We found the annexe very comfortable in a great location, short walk to town. Would recommend the George for good food. Breakfast was ample for us bread, jam, honey, cereals, fresh fruit, orange juice etc. We were asked by Katie and Simon several times if we needed anything replenished. We would recommend.

9.0The breakfast was fine, bed was comfortable, shower was lovely. Good to be able to relax in a room that is not the bedroom.
− I missed having a view of a garden/greenery. Perhaps some planters would give a better view and some privacy from the windows across the driveway.
