Comfortable and very welcoming
10.0Very comfortable, lovely surroundings, ideally located for the night before the local parkrun. Penny and Andy are super friendly hosts. Breakfast in the morning, after our run, was fabulous and we loved the view across the fields. We also enjoyed a super meal at the local pub the Durham Ox.

10.0The location was beautiful, easy to find, quiet and serene with amazing countryside views. The breakfast was served on time, was well cooked and absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend a stay at grooms cottage.

9.0The hosts were great - checked on us after we got there to ensure we were OK and very accommodating with a slightly later check out time and delicious breakfast so we could do the local Q Parkrun! Loved the quiet location with the beautiful countryside views and lots of space in the accommodation.
− No internet which wasn’t an issue for one night but could cause problems if you were there longer and relying on having it.

9.0Lovely walks with dog, great pub on the walk, which we later went to go evening meal. Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning . Dog friendly and worth it.
