10.0Everything! It was a fantastic stay from start to finish. Massive room, decor very authentic and true to the building. Hosts were awesome and breakfast was yummy!
Very impressive and historic castle within the village, echoes history, great for families!
9.0Excellent and historic place to stay with families and children, really old castle of Fourcés, we stayed in time with the annual flower festival when the small village is sealed off for traffic at which time you need to park outside of city limits (easy and only one week-end in the early spring), otherwise parking spaces really nearby.
Well worth going out of your way to stay here, its a unique and memorable French property.
9.0This Chateau was a real surprise - it is a real gem that far exceeded my expectations - the heavy stone, 6 foot thick walls, private pool, the quality of the restoration and nice medieval touches from lighting to old weapons and interesting things in little nooks. The proprieties, Olivier, runs the hospitality and did the restoration himself over many years. The breakfast was the best in France - warm croissants, homemade yogurt, frankly the best coffee we had in France as well. We booked this by mapping out the wineries in the area and figured something central to that would be nice to stay in. We otherwise knew nothing of the area. We stayed for 3 nights and left with the impression that we had stayed in a undiscovered secret little spot that would be a revelation to anyone fortunate enough to book a stay here.
− Our particular room did not have a shower, but rather a hand shower in the tub. Made showering a little awkward, but we chalked it up to the unique experience from another time.

− Manque la Clim mais à leur décharge séjour en pleine canicule mais cela reste très correct car la fraîcheur était quand même au rendez-vous car les mur d époque .

10.0Fabulous host and a fantastic location at the heart of the village of Fources, breakfast was outstanding and the conversations with our host as well. The castle as such is splendid with a true historic and cultural ambience, true to the place and true to time. Parking facilities worked well and were much needed. will return for sure!
