Best host in Venice
10.0You will not find a more helpful host in all of Venice. Matteo communicated with me weeks before our stay with tips, restaurant recommendations, instructions on how to find his B&B, and even helped us booked a few things in advance. We had the two rooms (one with twin beds) and one bath for our family of four. Everything was clean and comfortable- and the A/C worked- which is very important. Breakfast was delightful- but sadly rain moved us indoors.
− The location is quiet at night and the balcony/patio is gorgeous but you will have to walk 10-20 min to get to the main sites of Venice.

10.0Just stay here! No need to over-think it. This place was amazing and Matteo was the absolute best. Our room was very large and super comfortable. The B&B is in a very convenient location and we were able to walk everywhere without issue. If we make it back to Venice, we will definitely stay here again.

Matteo is an outstanding host and always ready to assist his guests.
10.0The breakfast was outstanding, from the varied selection of delicious items to Matteo's preparing everyone to be ready at our requested time. More, the property is located in a mainly residential neighborhood with much lower foot traffic and congestion as compared to the "big" tourist site area. Plus there are some good restaurants near the property that Matteo and his family highly recommend.
− To go to the Doge's Palace, St. Mark's Basilica and Square, and sites near those, you need to either take the vaparetto or navigate through city and bridges. Matteo is very helpful in showing places on the map and recommended routes. Once you've done it a few times, it's not difficult as long as you're comfortable with Google Maps or similar, and are patient with yourself. You'll definitely get plenty of steps toward your daily goal if you navigate through San Polo and San Marco.
