Excellent choice for a visit for Montecassino
9.0It’s a lovingly restored farmhouse and the gardens are most impressive, as you drive in up to the car park which has some shade under trees. Located on the hillside of Montecassino it has great views across the valley, and the route to the famous monastery is close by. There is also a welcome swimming pool on the property. It’s an old property and so not everything is new inside of course. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, with lots of tasty cakes, pastries and fresh coffee.

10.0This Agriturismo was a wonderful oasis on a quiet back street just outside of Cassino. The building was beautiful and our room was classically decorated and spacious with a terrace and a fridge. The gardens, pool area and view were stunning and the family were very friendly and welcoming. There was a great big supermarket only a few hundred metres away and, as well as a couple of pizza places, brilliant Sushi restaurant which we loved.
− There were no water glasses in the room which was probably an oversight - I'm sure they'd have been provided if I asked. There were no drinks available on site - a selection in the room or with an honesty box would have been a lovely touch.
