Great house with stunning views
9.0This is a lovely house with a most obliging hostess, who even gave us afternoon tea in the garden. Good breakfast. There is a well equipped kitchen to use and fabulous views towards Assisi from the enclosed verandah. You must go to the Il Rientro restaurant a 10 minute walk away. Is the best food we have eaten in Italy. We went 4 nights in a row and had the pasta, pizza, gnocchi, rabbit and veal. The strawberry cheesecake is brilliant.
− It's a little way out of town, but the view and the peaceful garden are worth it. Small dog barking early morning could annoy some people, but the positives FAR outweigh these minor negatives.
Holiday with a friends wedding
9.0Location was great and the owner was always there when we needed anything. The breakfasts were perfect and the scenery was beautiful. I would recommend Poggio La Grognola to anyone that wanted a B&B in that region.

10.0We really enjoyed staying here. Very cosy and comfortable. Spacious room and sparkling clean. Our host was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The area is lovely - great views and peaceful. It is surrounded by nature.
