− Met the host on check-in and was told it was a house rule that shoes had to be removed but there was nowhere to sit provided. This rule was not made clear on the property listing when I booked. Apparently no one else has ever objected and she implemented the rule to keep the carpets clean. I've included photo's of the carpets complete with cat pee stains with the smell covered up with joss sticks. The room didn't have a lock on the door. The bed was rock hard. The shower was off the main water supply so someone else turning a tap on altered the temperature. Overall a very poor experience for the price.

9.0Lovely host. Good space with more facilities than I expected.
Clean and well presented accomodation. Easy access to town, train and buses. Friendly owner.
7.0Comfortable bedroom. Easy access to Town Centre and also near open air swimming pool and a river.
− Kitchen difficult to move in for tall people. But there are plenty of cafes and restaurants available locally.
Lovely place within easy walking access of Lewes
9.0Lovely property , we had all the rooms with the two 'kitchenette' type areas. Nice bathrooms. The owner lives downstairs so you are using the same front door. The parking space that you can request to book is ok but not for the faint hearted as the location is on a hill and the parking space is between two walls so not a massive amount of space. Host was great at responding to messages. Rooms were comfortable too.
