Lovely restful stay in a beautiful township

Perfect retreat to sit watch the birds boats and life go by, dump your watch and grab a glass/cup
8.0Self catering breakfast was very ample and catered well with lovely fresh bread, spreads and ground coffee and various tea. Real milk instead of long life cartons - a treat. Sitting in the lounge area just bathed in sunshine and looking out over the water and the boats, the easy access along the boardwalk down the river and a short walk in to town. For that beautiful care free getaway it was perfect. Big plus! the bed was comfy but there was also an electric blanket! which was gleefully used as it gets a bit chilly in October so we were snuggled and happy. Im going back, just to sit and enjoy that view, even in mid winter it would be perfect as the accommodations were adequately heated and cozy. No cooking facilities in the room other than a toaster and kettle but who goes away to cook. There are beautiful eateries in the town.
− A small sink on the kitchen worktop area to wash up cups etc after breakfast instead of using bathroom, but, as we were told to just leave any dishes that needed to be washed outside on the table, that was our fault, im just a neat freak! We were offered the luxury of someone else doing it, and really it wasnt a problem at all. I just felt guilty
