Pleasant stay enjoyed by us
8.0Dave was very friendly as I sent my teens to shut the gate and they tried to knock on the main house to get back to me. Embarrassing! (They just had to retrace their steps and not bother the hosts.) Anyway, it was good I met him as I had to ask for help with the DVD/TV settings, and he came in and helped me, when I messaged. Good kitchen with all we needed. Very much appreciated the things like Glad Wrap etc. Comfy main bed. My teen who slept on the pull-out couch thingy didn't complain of anything to do with the bed, either. Nice setting, with natural views (saw a kangaroo on the property) and quiet enough for me who's a light sleeper. Not far to Trentham and we did day trips to Trentham Falls, Daylesford and Lavandula Swiss Italian Farm, Trentham (to do Wombat State Forest walk etc) I added a Snapchat that one of my teens took.
− It was very cold, which isn't their fault, and the air conditioner split system helped a lot but it took a while to warm up. There was another heater there but we couldn't get it to work. Car got all icy so had to leave more time than usual, in the mornings, to get going. Still, there were blankets to help make one toasty whilst watching DVDs.
