Kaksi yötä heinäkuussa 2026..

Sijainti oli miellyttävä. Talon ulkonäkö kiva, vähän tuli pieni talo preerialla viba terassilla käyskennellessä, mikä oli siis vain positiivista.

− Olimme kaksi yötä kahden makuuhuoneen sviitissä. Sviitti kuulostaa liioitellun hienolta: Nurkissa oli pölypalloja ja epäilyttävästi hiiren pipanoilta näyttäviä mustia muruja oli useassa kohdassa makuuhuoneen lattiaa. Vessanpönttö toimi huonosti ja televisio ei toiminut ollenkaan mikä harmitti jalkapallon MM kisojen aikana kovin paljon. Huomasimme avaimia kokeillessa, että kahdet avaimet toimivat sekä meidän huoneistoomme, että myös talon toisessa päässä olevaan huoneistoon. Kävimme nimittäin vahingossa väärässä huoenistossa, mutta tajusimme pian sen olevan väärä, koska olimme varanneet isomman. Otimme molemmat avaimet talteen, mutta yöllä toiseen asuntoon saapui pariskunta ja tietenkin toinen avain täytyi antaa heille. Tästähän aiheutui ensimmäiseksi yöksi levotonta unta ja painajaisia, kun päässä pyöri ajatus, että sisään saattaa tulla joku tuntematon. Toisena yönä oli hieman levollisempaa, kun toiset asukkaat lähtivät. Kuuma oli nukkua, kun ei ilmastointia ollut eikä ikkunoissa minkäänlaista ötökkäverkkoa. Keittiössä ei ollut astiapyyhkeitä eikä talouspaperia. Ruuanlaitto onnistui onneksi ilman niitä.
