− The restaurant had a backpacker vibe - a little ramshackle and beside a dry river. It didn’t feel luxurious at all. Also, more should be told about how difficult the drive is. The 8km of unpaved road took 45minutes to drive - there is very little space for other cars to pass and there are steep drops down the hillside. It also seemed strange to have this wilderness area that is being heavily developed with villas up the hillside by the beach. It felt a massive shame to be doing that to one of the few remaining wild areas on the island. We weren’t shown the pool so didn’t know it was there. The rooms are lovely but the communal areas felt like a ramshackle campsite. The beach is lovely but there’s no shade.

Absolutely Magical! We will return time and time again
10.0This is such a special property! The hidden valley and private beach is simply magical. You leave the main road down a dirt track for 40 mins and reach paradise. There are wild goats, sheep, lovely cats and the sounds of nothing but nature. The views are stunning. The staff are amazing, they treat you like family and cannot do enough for you - thanks for everything Matteo and Angelo. No ask was too much. They went above and beyond to accommodate our toddler at meal times and provide activities for us. On one day the beach was too cold and the pool was not available but they gave us access to a private villa pool so our daughter could swim. They even kept in touch after we left to offer recommendations for restaurants and beaches near our next location. It’s my only sadness we didn’t book to stay longer.
− The only thing to note is our daughter got car sick on the journey, nothing to do with the hotel or staff, but something to be aware of that the drive is long and windy and bumpy right on the cliff edge! We are glad we booked the transfer and didn’t attempt to drive ourselves.
